We are proud to be sponsoring and participating in this year’s Mustaches for Kids!
What is Mustaches 4 Kids?
A month-long mustache growing contest/fundraiser during November to raise funds for vulnerable children in our community! Our Growers (Albemarle team members) will start clean-shaven and then grow the most incredible mustaches possible. They will shave their faces, except for the mustache, a minimum of one time per week and solicit donations from friends, family, co-workers, and people in the community. At the end of the Growing Season, we will join with the other growers in the community have a ‘Stache Bash with a panel of judges to find the prize for the Sweetest ‘Stache. Why Participate in Mustaches 4 Kids?
.Foothills Child Advocacy Center and Piedmont CASA are both local nonprofits dedicated to supporting and advocating for children in our community and surrounding counties. Foothills’ mission is to provide a coordinated system of effective response and intervention to children who have been victimized with the goals of minimizing trauma, promoting healing, and ensuring child safety. Piedmont CASA provides best-interest advocacy for children in foster care and works to make sure that every child experiencing possible abuse and/or neglect is safe, has a permanent home, and has the opportunity to thrive. All funds raised through M4K will help these organizations continue to provide these critical services.
